Merrick Training

is a Lantra awards training provider based in the South-West of Scotland we offer and carry out nationally recognised training and certification throughout Scotland, Northern Ireland, England and Wales.

We can offer training at your site with your equipment or we can organise equipment and sites for you with all the requirements to fulfil the Lantra course syllabus. Our main areas of specialisation are Lantra Plant and machinery training and certification, for example, 360° and 180° excavators above and below 10 ton as well as courses for Forward Tipping Dumper and Skid Steer Loaders.

We also specialise in off-road and all-terrain vehicles such as 4x4 and 6x6 road going vehicles as well all types of ATV sit in and sit astride, tracked and multi-wheeled vehicles.

Merrick training also offer a remote access service .The aim of this service is to safely deliver your team to remote and difficult locations ,ideal for film crews ,archaeologists and surveyors

With industry experience, Merrick training are well placed to advise with the selection of new equipment to hire or buy for various task and difficult environments.

Being a Lantra training provider we are also able to offer a wide variety of Lantra courses from Chainsaw to cable avoidable tool and Tractor driving to Mole control. At Merrick we are able to undertake these by utilising our data base of fully qualified, regularly updated and verified instructors.
